Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the EmploRef Telegram bot (“EmploRef” or the “Service”).

EmploRef connects Candidates seeking employee referrals with Referrers who may be willing to refer them to their companies.

By using EmploRef, you agree to these Terms.

2. Using EmploRef

Candidates provide a company, professional area, and CV to submit a referral request. EmploRef then attempts to match the Candidate with suitable Referrers.

Referrers provide their company, professional area, and corporate email address. The corporate email must be verified before a Referrer can receive Candidates.

Referrers independently decide whether to accept or reject a Candidate. If a Candidate is rejected, the request may be presented to another suitable Referrer.

3. User Responsibilities

You must provide accurate information and use EmploRef only for legitimate referral purposes.

You must not impersonate another person, falsely claim employment at a company, submit fraudulent information, misuse another user’s personal data, interfere with the operation or security of the Service, or use EmploRef for spam, harassment, or other unlawful purposes.

Candidates are responsible for the information they include in their CVs.

Referrers may use Candidate information only for evaluating and, where applicable, submitting the Candidate for a referral. Referrers are responsible for complying with their employer’s referral policies and other applicable obligations.

4. No Guarantee of Referral or Employment

EmploRef facilitates connections between Candidates and Referrers but does not guarantee that a Referrer will be available or accept a Candidate.

Acceptance by a Referrer does not guarantee that a referral will ultimately be submitted or accepted by an employer, nor does it guarantee an interview, job offer, or employment.

EmploRef is not an employer, recruitment agency, or representative of the companies selected by users. Companies are not affiliated with or sponsors of EmploRef merely because their employees or Candidates use the Service.

5. Availability and Liability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service and may restrict access for users who violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or create security or legal risks.

EmploRef is provided without any guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.

EmploRef is not responsible for independent decisions made by Candidates, Referrers, employers, Telegram, or other third parties, subject to mandatory applicable law.

6. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms when necessary to reflect changes to the Service or applicable legal requirements.

If a change materially affects users’ rights or obligations, we will notify affected users through the Bot or another appropriate method before the change takes effect where required by applicable law.

The “Last updated” date above indicates when these Terms were last revised.
